The first 1/4" of the brass thread is sheared-off, but the supply screw-down @ CW socketed in/screwed on very well. Read on below....
OK, just checked for O-ring(s) Chris, mine has a black O-ring in there. It is intact, and it moves around circularly when I put my finger on it. But it's there.
His, (CW's)connecting orifice had a black rubber seal I could see. The guys said they'd just filled a propane tank earlier, so it wasn't their connection they said.
