The frame ground used to have an auto reset CB when I got the rig but I removed it cause it was too small. I figured if i got a short somewhere on the circuit then that would protect the wiring to the 12V panel from that. The series pair thing comes from solar where they want a fuse on each series string. I figured if I got a short in a battery pair, I could protect the interconnects from melting. Of course, the good pair would have to be low in SOC to draw a lot of current.
