I have a Prosine 2.0 that won't transfer power. Seems that this is a fairly common failure mode for these inverters....welded transfer relay. It also seems that Xantrex feels that these $1800 inverter...

I have two issues with chew and spit
1. Landfill poison
2. The replacement ain't gonna be any better
It's my age. Dinosaur. Fix it. If it's junk, rip the garbage out by the roots and fix it with better parts. If the design itself is faulty then it's a learning experience.

YES YES YES! Shout it out! modularize! Smoke rolled out of my ears thirty years ago when a combination TV VCR went belly-up and I found out the ugly truth when I opened it up. Integral alternator voltage regulators: JUNK! SMD control does not have any business being near a powerful automotive device. Manufacturers scream MORE RELIABLE! I retort sarcastically - "It wouldn't be "un"-reliable if you used a decent harness and connectors".
