The awning on my truck camper pulled loose where the foot bracket screws to the body. The wood is not rotten I hung the awning on the lifting jack, and pulled it out. Now how do I repair the holes so ...

Hello gbsb. The best thing to plug stripped screw holes are golf tee's (much better than wood dowels). They are made from hard wood and very strong. Just remove the screws and coat the golf tee with good water proof glue and hammer them into the hole. Once the glue is dry cut the tee's flush, drill pilot hole and reinstall bracket using caulk.

Works great. Have repaired door hinge screw holes with this method many times.
