fcooper is right. You are not thinking about how a 50 amp / 240 Volt system works.
You have 2 120 volt legs with 50 amps available on each leg not 25 amps on each leg. 50 + 50 =100 amps of 120 volt power. - rk911Exploreri've heard of but not seen in person RVs with 100-amp service. connected to a 50-amp post i believe the most a rig like thar could draw would be a bit less than 50-amps else the post CB would trip.
