Pump Problem

This morning I was pumping the sewer out. Wife turned on a tab inside and the water pump quit and so did the sewer pump. Both at the same time when she opened a tab.

Checked all the breakers, nothing wrong there. Turned them on and off to make sure. Turned the breakers on and off at the campsite power plugin, nothing wrong those either. Got all electrical outlets inside working, lights, etc.
Slideout does work, levelers do work.Fans do work, etc

Only thing without power: Display panel, water pump and sewer pump.
Everything else works.

What could be wrong? I can only find the breakers in the bedroom under the bed.

Ok, guys thanks for the fast responses.
I took the faulty fuse out and replaced it with the TV fuse.
Now we can use the pump but not the TV till we buy some extra fuses to carry with us.
Don't matter because we never watch TV.
Anyhow, lesson learned... :-) Thanks again.
At some point in the near future I would advise you to remove the sewer pump from the FW pump circuit and establish it on its own fused circuit.

Ok, problem solved! Was a fuse!

There are some newer RV's where what I am about to say does not apply but.

In your case both the water pump and the macerator pump are 12 volt systems

    12 volt systems have FUSES

    120 volt have Circuit breakers

In both cases that is "Normally" and there may be exceptions (Example the dash HEVAC system on my coach is on a breaker,, Dang thing drove me crazy last summer.. I fixed it.)
  • Yep....

110V AC power uses circuit breakers
12V DC uses fuses (or DC circuit breakers which are resettable fuses, either auto reset or manual reset)

Sounds like both pumps are on same DC line......exceeded fuse size with both running at same time.
