Strange, if I hired a contractor to build a house for me in Canada and there was a problem with the plumbing. I would not be going to Moen, I would expect the contractor to make good on the warranty. Strange indeed? Thanks for the input.
The HOME BUILDER will get his sub contractor to fix any warranty problems. As to appliances on the HOME, the individual appliance makers will be responsible for the warranty. This goes to GOOD Home builders. GOOD builders use responsible sub contractors and those sub's KNOW if they do not build it right and do not respond to failures, the odds are the contractor will not hire them again. BUT, a lot on Home builders, the home owner is responsible for calling and setting up warranty appt's on the appliances. I have been in the RV business for 40 years and the ONLY dealers I am aware of that have or give customers the brush off on warranty concerns are indeed those Internet/1-800 dealers. They sell so cheap, they cannot afford to do complete warranty work and hire the staff to process warranty and hire KNOWLEDGABLE SKILLED RV Technicians to do the work. Doug
