Confusion of the issues
#1 the diode has nothing to do with the Xantrex on the house system
The diode was the original install on the chassis / starting battery trickle maintenance charge solar
#2 yesterday was cloudy before the rain started
It was impossible to have a steady reading, also anything going on off inside the RV ..water pump, light, fridge etc would create
Fluctuations in the reading...remember we are full timers
I know exactly what PWM is and can do, that how large machine tool spindle motors are controlled, I working with this tech 35 years ago
And my meter is a Fluke 77, slightly aged but works great
And I have a portable oscilloscope buried someplace
It matters NOT...That the output is PWM..
If the input has variations because of this..why is it that everybody else sees battery level at input and I see panel voltage at input
I say...Because of the difference in controllers
