The manual says it will shut off if it sees 85 amps to protect the circuits and come back on after ten minutes.
Imp should not mean anything unless you have an MPPT controller.
I can't yet find a proper schematic to see if it has a buck converter but without MPPT. Anybody? The Trace C40 has some refs to 1998. I don't know when MPPT came out commercially--around 2003?
