Yes, only one AC at a time can be run while on shore power.
I was going to plug the 20 amp leg into the 20 amp GFCI at the pedestal. The cam switch switches between the 20 amp hot wire from the generator and the hot wire plugged into the pedestal. The 30 amp leg is not changed. I started this project based on the recommendations of some other forum members that said they had done the same thing but I know that is risky. Will it work if I separate out the neutrals and include them on the cam switch?
