When I first bought my TV last year i switched out the 12v interstate batteries for 2 6v 210ah AGM batteries from OSI Batteries (fit perfectly in the existing space). They have done very well so far and I don't have to worry about maintenance.
If you search around you can find good deals on AGM from time to time. Lifeline batteries are more expensive than some of the other agm brands but you also paying for the longer warranty. I have been looking at Mastervolt and Full River for a future expansion along with solar.
You do have to make sure that the charger can handle AGM's and that the charge rates meet the needs of the AGM batteries. I wrote an e-mail to the company I bought the batteries from and sent them the specs of the charger I had to make sure it would work. They confirmed it meet the specs. If it hadn't I would have upgraded the charger with a newer one.
AGM's are more costly up front but can be more cost effective and much easier to maintain in the long run.
Part of the decision does come down to personal choice. If you like doing maintenance then you'd probably stick with wet cell. I prefer to just do a visual and voltage check whenever we get ready to head out. Don't want to worry about acid and water.
