Everyone talks about no maintenance, but does not define what sort of maintenance that is. Obviously, you do not need an hydrometer or to add water.
The thing seemingly ignored is equalizing-overcharging-topcharging after doing a camping session off-grid of several 50-90s in a row.
The AGMs need it, same as Wets would, but how in heck do you measure your progress in doing that without an hydrometer is the mystery.
So people who respond to this thread should be careful to explain their own scenarios wrt that.
