AGM maintenance conditioning can be a real mystery to some. Too many people have no clue their AGM battery has 70% rather than the original 100% amp hour capacity. Too bad this erroneously allows them to think an eight-year-old AGM "Is Like New". It isn't and treating the battery like it isn't sulfated makes the deterioration proceed even faster.
CONDITIONING not equalization. It is a totally different process of correction. Again I point out Concorde Lifeline's manual online.
Some folks could care less their three hundred dollar battery is giving two hundred dollars worth of capacity. Please don't preach that a poor maintenance protocol is acceptable for an AGM battery. Pianotuna is absolutely correct about amp hour metering being key to knowing if a three hundred dollar capacity has degraded to one hundred fifty dollars. Some folks think "It's OK to get 4-speeding tickets in a year and pay two-thousand dollars for the privilege of getting there faster. Amp hour capacity verification is a snap and no hassle. It doesn't take a high school lab experiment to conduct. Trends and tendencies does all the testing. A cheap Megawatt does all the conditioning needed with AGM.
