Question For Experienced Deka AGM Uers

Hopefully folks with 5+ years on their heavily cycled group 29-30-31.

Battery time for toad. Lifeline is inappropriate. I can get a 31 for $194.00 total.

I don't want much ha ha.

5 years minimum lifespan. Able to run BiPAP with humidifier full bore for weeks at a time. 9 hours on then alternator recharge. Operate LED reading lights. Yeah it'll do all that but I want the Mariachino Cherry too. Incredibly long lived performance. AGMs do not grow on trees down here except for those spiral cells and even those disappear south of Mexico City.

Any negative reports? This ain't chump change for me.

THANKS

  • Toad is packed. Pointed north. Thursday the 1st, leg one. Friday AM leg 2. 500 miles. Then I will be within 70 miles of the border. Dalia told me "Come Home!". After the $99.99 Summer Special "Oldmanoverhaul" The surgeons are delirius with glee. Going into hospital on the 15th

    EDIT EDIT EDIT

It's not only price. The Lifeline's posts are different. Carol at Ramcar battery would be getting it for me. Deka makes two grades of 31. This is the expensive one.
  • I'm curious .... why is a Lifeline inappropriate? (Other than cost!!)

I had MK which is supposed to be the same as DEKA (East pen) they lasted about 5 years

My Interstate Flooded wet cells... 9

I replace the Interstates with DEKA flooded wet.. 4 years ago. So far so good. but the DEKA Chassis battery is giving me issues.. NOT SURE IT IS THE BATTERY YET (Maintenance free type) Load tested last week and it passed, Acts like a bad connection.

Will work on it later this week.
