I would run either 1&1/4" conduit with four 6 ga
Or 1&1/2" conduit and four , 4ga wires
Two hots , one neutral, and one ground
Any non metallic conduit will require a pulled ground wire, making it a four conductor/Wire run
With metallic conduit, you can use three wires with the conduit for ground
In a planned job using new materials, I Would not use Aluminum
I would only use Aluminum, in an emg that's all there is situation
