Radiator Hose, 1999 Triton V-10 (Again)
The worm turns... You were all very helpful in my search for hard-to-cross-reference and "obsolete" upper & lower hoses. Rock Auto came through in the end.
But... there is still the mystery of the 1" ID hose that runs from the bottom of the radiator to the coolant reservoir. It seems the coach builder may have re-positioned the reservoir, and used a different hose than Ford originally supplied/intended.
My old hose is clearly marked with both Motorcraft and Gates numbers. But these PN's don't seem to cross to anything. I've been turned down by every major parts house, Rock Auto, and even the local Ford truck/fleet parts department.
Does anyone have a subscription to a database or something? If Ford can't find a Motorcraft part, I don't think I can!
Here's what is marked on the hose I'd like to replace:
Motorcraft F81D 8C351 BD -- the 2nd line says G152 S39EAG (with a Gates logo in between the two sets of characters).
