Mine went out in June, I could not find the leak, so I decided to shotgun the parts. I picked up the condenser, compressor, expansion valve, evaporator, and pressure switch for around 400 dollars from Rock auto. I started taking each piece out and testing them. Evaporator and expansion valve held vacuum for twenty minutes(yea, don't have to tear dash apart). Condenser and pressure switch held vac for twenty minutes, but since the condenser also contains the dryer which has the desiccant bag in it I replaced it(glad I did the bag was soaked from the oil). That left the compressor which would not hold a vacuum(plugged one port then the other). So one day in the driveway testing, and replacing parts, drawing a vacuum, and filling with Freon and still working today.
