If electric is included space heaters help, but if you have a few extra dollars could consider adding on an electric add on heating unit to the furnace. Much safer than space heaters, and controlled by the thermostat.
OH GOODNESS! A heated mattress pad, I will look into that, I'm so cold natured I could use that in the summer time, lol.
