Check with some of the other rv owners where your set up who live in them through the winter. They can give you pointers on propane usage (etc) and a LP outfit that exchanges a 100 gal tank for you.
Also they can show you how to insulate your city water hose so it doesn't freeze when temps hit the single digits or below zero. RV dealer service folks can help you also with ideas.
We lived in our 5th wheel on our property for one winter (0 temps and 40 mph winds). I used a 30 lb bottle every three days till my LP dealer set me up with a 100 lb bottle.
I kept both 30 lb tank full so when the 100 gal tank ran out I tuned them on till they swapped the big tank.
Its not easy living full time in a RV that isn't made for doing so.
