Grab a digital bathroom scale
Weigh a dead empty tank to establish tare weight.
The weigh it again after a fill-up
Propane = 4.24 lbs per gallon
Propane = .51 Kg litre
Butane = 4.86 lbs per gallon
Very little butane sold in Canuckda.
Now you have something real to sink your teeth into.
