Sure I can, as long as that's what I'm paying. Why in the world would I pay twice as much at Crappy Tire when the price is consistently low at Costco, regardless of the reason?
But I was speaking on a market-wide scale, all of North America, not just one area or one chain that discounts fuel..
When my BBQ tank ran out this summer in Hearst, it would not have been very economical to drive 6 hours to the nearest Costco in North Bay so instead I ‘saved’ $400 in fuel and ‘overpaid’ the extra $15.
