If a person can avoid the fraud and actually get a gosling down comforter about 6" of loft I sure recommend it. It seems to keep my body temperature stable from zero F to in the low sixties. I paid a hundred dollars for a "highly reviewed" almost down king size comforter and it's a joke. I sweat at 60F and freeze at 40F
Thankfully its a king size so I double it up. So before the asteroid comes through my window a down comforter is on my wish list. Satin soft bedtime-only socks, and a microfiber cap. For really cold nights it's Nike sweats. DWs give payback for icicle toilet seats by clamping their freezing feet to the small of your back.
