Rayzar air antenna,,,

Have you checked the connections at the antenna, going into the unit for corrosion? I assume you turned on the power to the antenna otherwise it won't work. And of course you did a channel search.

The cable looks fine. I did a couple of channel searches from different directions and the booster was on. I put our old antenna back on and can pick up the one channel again.

Did you verify 12 VDC at the antenna end of the coax between the center core (positive) and outer jacket (ground/negative)?

I did the same thing as you and had the same results. If there are channels close around then it works good as it will pick them up in both directions. But it won't pickup channels as far as the Sensar will.

If you switched from a working Sensar (batwing) antenna to the Rayzar, that's effectively a performance downgrade. You likely would have been better off adding a Wingman yagi conversion to the Sensar, plus installing a Sensar Pro power injector/amplifier/signal meter to replace the existing power injector.

Dutch has good advice.

I think a lot of televisions antenna sales are more hype than performance. It's difficult to beat the Sensar batwing with upgrades when it comes to over the air tv reception.

I sent the Rayzar back. I should have asked about it here first I guess instead of reading the hype about them.
