My theory: The Op is a regular poster here who created a new username so he could insult others without reprisal. Also, he clearly is the one who is "battery challenged" - not because of his preference for 12v, but for his faulty understanding of how capacities are calculated in parallel vs. series battery systems.
That said, with proper maintenance for most typical RV applications I think it's six of one, a half dozen of the other (or, two sixes of one, two dozens of the other?) Oh never mind. :)
