Actually the Six volt deep cycle do not so bad as starting batteryes, The starting battery in my RV is around 80 amp hour. The six volt pair 220 (older) so a 160 amp load is 2x the amp hour capacity for the cranking battrey but only about 3/4 of the capacity on the deep cycles, NOT a heavy load at all.
And that's the crankey battery for an 8.1L Vortec V-8,, As for the Onan, I've crenked it with a 27 amp hour AGM
