Re Certification of Propane Tank
I took my 30# tank to be refilled today and was told that it would have to be re-certified prior to filling it. Has anyone had this done and what does it typically cost? Thanks

I once had a uhaul refuse to fill mine because it was ONE DAY over 12 years. Ended up having to exchange it. Next time I had one filled at my usual propane dealer, he told me they would have certified it, basically just a visual inspection, as idaho stated. No charge.
