Re Certification of Propane Tank
I took my 30# tank to be refilled today and was told that it would have to be re-certified prior to filling it. Has anyone had this done and what does it typically cost? Thanks

Find a full service propane dealer in your area. One that makes home deliveries & installs the outdoor tanks at homes & businesses.
I used one in a neighboring county that also sells gasoline & diesel. Got 2 - 20lb & 1 - 6lb for $5 each. They did a visual inspection & etched the collar. Good for 5 more years. If inspected & pressure tested it will cost more & is good for 7 more years.
