Re Certification of Propane Tank
I took my 30# tank to be refilled today and was told that it would have to be re-certified prior to filling it. Has anyone had this done and what does it typically cost? Thanks

All my tanks, I mean cylinders, have been been re-certified. Cost has been between 5 and 10 bucks. The process has been a bit odd, including how the tank, I mean cylinder, is stamped, but next time I fill the tanks, I mean cylinders, I will see how that goes. I was told that the tank, I mean cylinder, is to be empty for the process to go forward.
