Earlier in this thread there were some members that posted that they had one sticker showing 2.7 amps, and another near the circuit board that showed 2.9 amps. Some actually measured the current and found it around 3 amps.

It's going to be tough if there are actually two different elements with the same markings - a lot of folks are going to be confused, including the DIY'ers and some of the tech's. I can hear it now: "Hey, this is the same part I just took out. Somebody must have already changed it..."
