OK! I was able to get the leg out. had to cut a mountain of caulk out of the way first.
Now that it is on the bench how do I remove the lower bevel gear from the threaded main shaft? I don't see any pins holding it on.
I need to inspect the threads on the shaft and the bevel gear to determine where it is slipping.
I know there is a rebuild kit for this so the lower bevel gear most come off some how.
