Wa8yxm, (I am originally from the suburbs of Detroit) House Batteries are 3 months old & are reading plenty of voltage. The reason I was wanting to set it to Auto was that with my old motorhome, the power had gone out & I didn't realize I wasn't charging the batteries so I thought having the generator detect low voltage would be a good back up plan.
