Two paired as you described should run a 15K BTU A/C if you shed other loads like the electric water heater, electric heating element for the fridge and in some cases turning off the converter to get the A/C started. Many of us who have that set-up are staying cool. Just curious, is your A/C a larger unit or what do you perceive is going on to prevent running the A/C with parallel units?

No Guarantees there Professor - During testing my twins started the 13.5K Coleman Mach III on the motorhome the first time, but after the compressor cycled naturally (I did not change the thermostat knob setting), went into overload the second time the compressor kicked in. No other loads, including the converter were active at the time. Testing took place on a typical 85-90 degree day at ~800' above Sea Level...and no, the A/C was not fitted with a Hard Start Cap - that may be something for DRZRIDER to look into if applicable for his A/C unit. YMMV
