For whatever it's worth, I'll add our experience to the discussion. We have the MS2812 inverter/charger, 450 AH bank, solar, and Honda EU2000. Shore power goes directly into the Magnum, and then out to the entire coach. When we run the Honda for bulk charging it maintains about 75 amps (as told by our Trimetric) until we hit 90% and I turn it off and let the solar do the rest. I only do this when we park in the woods and the solar can't get enough photons to do the job by itself.
