It's all about priorities. And - knowing your limits. As I recall from Bob's blog, he does have a microwave, though is using it carefully, keeping an eye on the battery. Bob is living fulltime in his rig. Being able to run power tools when you need to, makes more sense to me than using MW for something that a propane stove can do.
