Hi lc,
Consumption in a house is far beyond what an RV may use.
If the microwave is a "must have" then a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter is "in the cards" for you. Currently the "best bang for the buck" for a 2k psw inverter is this: Prowatt-SW2000-Sine-Wave
Here is a simple flow chart.
Budget-->Energy Audit-->Battery bank size-->number of watts-->PWM or MPPT.
