Ready to get my feet wet with Solar power
Thought I would post my idea here and let the experts tell me what I am missing. First off, I own 2ea RV's. 1 is a gooseneck horse trailer with living quarters and the other is a bumper pull prowler....

It is not sounding very worthwhile. Chose 100w panel to be able to mount 3ea permenant on "rover". If set-up is portable can use larger panels. Yes, MPPT would be more expensive but in 3-4 years if my solar set-up needs do change that is one piece of equipment that I should never have to toss in the corner. Who knows if I will always be able or want to locate the controller close to the battery bank. Flexibility is still much desired.
