I read every word from all of you. Here is what I have done for three years. I have a very small portable space heater on the bath counter in my bedroom and it has been plugged into the GFCI over the sink, it has a red button. I turn it on only half way and even then I dial the heat down a bit. Nothing else is plugged into this same outlet except for my elec toothbrush charger. The heater in the living room area is a fireplace style and I run it at only half power. It is plugged into the outlet above the entertainment area. My RV has been plugged into the RV park power (Bandon RV Park) for three years and it is 30 amps. Before I got the 2010 Cougar fifthwheeler I had an Alfa Ideal that at age 14 was needing too much work. Never had power problems with it. So, since I first wrote I moved the little heater in the bedroom over to a regular wall outlet near the base of the wall. Nothing else is plugged in there. Unfortunately the Rec/Con breaker went to off again this evening. I will run my propane furnace the next few days (and not the little bedroom heater) through a cold spell--we are expecting about 24 hrs of mountain snow and heavy rain here on the coast into Thanksgiving Day) and until I can figure this situation out. I do have Cen-Tech 7-function Digital Multi-Tester and a package of new fuses, one each of several sizes. The Rec/Con switch that is shutting off is 15 amps. About my battery, it is the only one I have ever seen that has a solid cover over it, and I am hard pressed to mess with it myself. I pushed the wall button (also has tank readings) for battery (CGFL) and I get four lights. I don't know how accurate these types of readings are. The tank reading seems to match what I know is going on with the tanks. I have a person who lives 30 mi away who can read the tester meter for me, but again, I don't do electric stuff. What I can do :-) and what I did do is replace my front door lock set and recaulked my two sinks. I also recaulked the side of the RV but have the roof done. All that is finished for this winter. We do get big blows and very heavy rains here in Bandon-by-the-Sea so I have to keep on top of things. This electric thing is worrisome. I will have my friend come here soon and see what we can figure out--he can read all that you wrote. I am very careful to not overload the circuits. If I should be doing anything else at this point please let me know.
