I have a factory sticker on each side of 5rv above wheels:
WARNING: Loose lug nuts can cause wheel separation and damage. Check lug nut torque on the first trip at 10/25/50 miles, check lug nut torque before every trip, check lug nut torque after winter storage, check lug nut torque after excessive braking.So I check them with my torque wrench.
Not as frequent as indicated on sticker but whenever a wheel has been removed/reinstalled, IF I have had to do some HARD braking (rarely cause of exhaust brake) AND if having jack rig in really scrubbing tires.
Usually after 2nd re-torque don't find any loose ones.
Checking is done in AM when checking tire pressures which I run at 110#. Then recheck at first rest stop which is usually an hour and half later.
Do the same thing on truck wheels.
