The OP's frig seems to take more watts though, >400W ??
The AC heater in my fridge (Dometic RM3663) is rated at 325 watts. The Trimetric panel is showing 34.2 DC amps to run the inverter. I believe the voltage at that time was 13.3, so that does result in a little over 450 watts. I had just started the fridge up when I took those readings, and it hadn’t even started to get cold yet. The amperage and wattage seems to go down some as the heating element and cooling unit heat up, so it may be that the running watts of a fully cooled fridge are a little lower. Also, if I remember right the inverter specs say it’s about 85% efficient.
Are you sure about the AC wattage on your 8 cubic foot fridge? That sounds more like the DC heater wattage if it’s a 3-way.
