What is involved in installing a cooling fan in a propane refer and does it help? If it helps, how do you do it?

Our trailer came with a fan in the rear top of the fridge. I added one in the rear bottom and just tapped into the 12v. I also run a small fan inside the fridge on the bottom shelf. It runs forever on 2 D cells. It helps circulate the cold when the fridge is loaded down.
