Refer troubleshooting

I'm at a CG and my refrigerator and freezer stop cooling. Lights work. Switched it over to LP to see if that works. It's only been about an hour since I made that switch, so I'm guessing it's still too early to tell.

I checked the level and it was slightly off. I fixed that. Fuses are good. Also, it was mid 90s here today.

I plugged in at home on Wednesday and switched over to gas while driving. Set up camp yesterday and everything had been working until mid-day today (Saturday).
  • Just checked the freezer. That's working. I think the Fridge is working too, but it's not as evident. It's still on LP.
  • The refrig. to work on AC needs 120 volts. Does the outlet for the refrig. have 120 volts to it? Pull refrig. out side panel off and make sure the outlet has power if not check inside GFI and reset if necessary.
  • Norcold model 641
    Not a slide out
I'm hooked up to AC now
It was lower 90s when I switched to propane.

I believe it's still under warranty. I wanted to see if there was an easy find/fix.

If LP switch ends up fixing this, does that narrow down that list at all?
  • Well.......

Could be a bad electric heater element
Could be blown fuse for element on control board
Could be bad AC power/lack of power to outlet fridge is plugged into (tripped GFI)
    Could be bad circuit board.
Could be blockage in cooling unit
Could be lack of fans in outside compartment
Could be blocked/obstructed draft air flow

    Could be lots of things......

    What Brand/Model?
Is it in a slide out?
Do you have AC power/checked for AC power to fridge?
WHat knd of temps prior to swapping to propane?
