Yea, that sounds way too hot to me too. What's the difference between a double door fan switch and a single door fan switch?
WOW! The price for one of those is outrageous, lol. I found one of the full kits you mention for cheaper. Still seems pretty ridiculous that a 12v fan and a switch cost $45.
Any thoughts on this. It's made by Norcold, costs $15, and says it turns on at 130 and off at 115.
Or this looks even more useful since you can adjust it.
There are a number of other different thermostat switches available on amazon. Some of them like this only had one of the fins(or appear to only have one from the picture) to hook a wire(maybe a single door fan switch?lol) but I'm not sure how you would wire one of those then.
How long should it take to feel a difference in the fridge? It's 90 degrees out now but is going to hit a 100. If it was just a problem with the fan will it be able to cool it back down with it being so hot now that I've got it running constantly?
I also wanted to say I'm still open to other possibilities for my problem. If anyone can think of anything else I should check I'd appreciate it. I really don't want the food in my fridge to spoil...
