Remote Awning
What makes a remote awning remote? Can I add this feature to my existing non remote electric awning? Is there a kit available? Thanks

Wired remote, or wireless?
I bought inflatable mattress and it come with wireless remote.
Bare in mind the manual switch is 10 inches from my head when I sleep on it.
Couple months ago we were camping on the beach, when sudden wind picked up.
Couple sites away huge awning was about to break off. I went out there but the closer neighbors already check it out.
It was one of those awnings with remote inside and with locked doors we could not close it.
The owners come with the boat at evening. The awning survived, but barely.
