Removing Eternabond residue from vinyl and carpet

Long story short, I applied some Eternabond to the slide side, and some of it got jammed, removing the cover and spreading the 'glue' onto the vinyl and carpet. I've since removed the Eternabond from ...

Mineral spirits, which is the main ingredient in Goo-Gone, removes most tape residue. Plus, it probably will not stain the vinyl or carpet. Try a small are first as suggested.
