Replace or repair microwave?
10 years old. Quit working. I pulled it out the other day, expecting to replace it, but found a replaceable fuse on it. Put a new one in and in about 1 second, it blew it.Did same thing one more time....

I have never worked around a microwave that toasted a transformer or popped it's magic capacitor that didn't leave behind "the smell".
Most folks get to the Security Torks screws then rapidly lose interest.
Then the cover comes off and the inevitable "what next". Diagnosing a keypad or circuit board relay (one of the usual suspects) takes basic electronics knowledge.
But I waited and I waited here but no one bit...wotta shame...
The twin security door locks are #1 on the "everything lights up, the clock adjusts but no music comes out" hit parade.
Oh well. I have a battery charger to rebuild tomorrow. It's micro processor has been "neurolized".
