Replace pull out power cord

I am going to replace the pull out power cord on my 2009 Holiday Rambler Savoy SL with a detachable power cord. Anyone done this? Basically, how do you cover up the round hole since I have to install a smaller square plug on the side of the camper?
Thanks for any ideas.

  • The good thing about doing that is it seals one avenue for rodents and insects to get in your camper. It also minimizes damage because a copper thief would only cause a cable loss, without having to deal with the damage of a hard-wired cable.

The downside is that sometimes the old mouse-hole is a good thing. I use mine if I want to run an extension cord so I can run multiple 1500 watt electric heaters inside my rig.
  • get the hole size,, stop at lowes pluming dept and they have blanc hole covers in chrome. snap or glue in.
