I absolutely hated the squeaky plastic faucets and replaced them with single lever models (Delta maybe?) from a big box store. So much better. My only real issue is the thin stainless steel kitchen sink flexes quite a bit when I lift on the lever to turn the water on. May end up having to deal with that one of these days.
