Replacement ideas for a grill regulator (Coleman Roadtrip)

Hi folks,
Of course here we are about to leave for a week at the beach and the regulator on my Coleman roadtrip has quit. Don't have time to order another one ... anyone have an idea how to rig up something that will work?
Here's what the part looks like: Roadtrip regulator

Thinking I could cut off the old regulator from the pipe and rig up something with another grill regulator and a hose and clamps ... just not sure where to start.

I'd really like this to run off of my on-board propane but don't have time to get that together.

Thanks!

  • I use a hose and clamps on the input pipe so I can operate my "Road Kill" grill of my on board tank, hooked in after the tanks regulator.
Don't cut the pipe, the regulator will un-screw off the pipe! It is tight but it will un-screw.
