Replacement rear roof end cap needed.

I have a Tioga 31W that I will be replacing the roof on this summer and the rear fiberglass cap is cracked. This is the molded part that curves over the top near the roof that has 5 running lights mounted in it. Where can I get a replacement for this or should I just try to use fiberglass and repair it?

  • I used the Bondo long hair fiberglass resin last year and it worked great.
  • I think I will try repairing it first and see how that goes.
  • I don't do this sort of work on RVs, but I did it a lot on boats. Even if you can buy the part, shipping it will kill you because of the size. If it is actually fiberglass, or any plastic that epoxy will bond to, repairing it will not be all that difficult or expensive.
