An RV water pump can last for decades. If you want to be prepared for any failure are you also going to carry a spare solar controller, battery charger, extra generator, propane pigtails and regulator, kitchen faucet, toilet parts, and slide motor? The last failure I had that required immediate attention was a broken door lock.
I don't carry much in the way of spare parts. When something breaks, it can usually be replaced by a trip to an RV supply store or waiting a couple of days for general delivery from an online purchase.
